We Got A Sneak Peek Into Gap Kolkata: Here's What's In Store

Have you been gaping at the Gap hexagon at South City Mall for a while? Well, buckle up now because the American giant is finally opening its doors today. We got a sneak peek and here’s what you can expect.

Gap Inc, considered an icon of American style clothing with thousands of stores worldwide is finally in town. Located just beside the main entrance of South City, we won’t be surprised if you step into the mall and walk right into the Gap store now.

And what a mood it sets! Half way between casual and urban chic, the clothing range includes their signature tees, khakhis, chinos, shorts,  their genius denim selection, dresses, trainers and ball caps.

We heaved a sigh of relief when we saw that the Gap store we are getting is definitely not stocking last season’s collection or any kinda passé fashion {yeah, we’ve definitely groaned in one too many such cases}. Nope, it’s bursting with colours and fun tones with fresh off the rocks Gap Spring ’18 collection. From colourful cotton polos to shorts with quirky motifs and trendy cotton dresses, the collection is just perfect for our a vibrant Indian spring.

While the signature vintage washed soft tees {INR 999} in the women’s collection literary had us melting, we absolutely loved the collection of men’s shorts with quirky cool motifs of cacti and doggos!

The brightly coloured skinny ankle women’s pants {INR 3,000}are the other thing we could not stop ourselves from grabbing. And, of course, we just couldn’t give the brand’s signature tees a miss {INR 1,499}. From spring colours to floral prints these tees will give instant relief from the scorching summer heat.

From ball caps to socks and trainers the store has a really cool accessories corner to woo you. Take your pick of fun prints or cool colours to complete the casual laid-back look.

All those with little kiddos, apparently Gap Kolkata won’t be having a kids section. But we are happy to reveal that they’ll soon unveil their new summer collection. So, keep your eyes peeled!

And line up pronto folks: The Gap store will opening its door sharp at 11 am today!
