Southern Avenue Gets A New Cafe & It'll Take You On A Trip Around The World

Hola is Kolkata’s newest cafe and restaurant and it’s serving up food from across the world.

Food hubs are popping up across the city {Hindustan Park to Sector V} and Southern Avenue is top of that list with its rapidly increasing number of restaurants, cafes and eating joints. The newest addition to the list is Hola — the cafe, lounge and bar.

Hola literally translates to ‘hello!’ and Hola Cafe is all about saying hello to good food and a chill vibe. The coolest thing about the place? It fits all types of moods! Want to dance? They have you covered! Looking for a relaxed afternoon with good food? Here’s where you can go. Just want a quick cuppa and a bite? Look no further!

If you love your munchies, Hola is where you need to go. We’re going to be tucking into their Asian bites {think everything from wasabee prawns and hearty soup to baos and dim sum}. They also have a couple of fusion-style dishes for the more adventurous foodie. Super bonus points for the minimalist, clean presentation.

The decor is pretty ‘out there’ but somehow the yellow furnishings work well with the wood finish. We absolutely love the art installation as you enter. The spokes of the cycle mounted on the wall add the ‘oo’ to ‘food’ — and they look so cool! The quotes on the wall are also really catchy.
