Tak Heng is back in town with a larger space, and we are leaving every other Chinese restaurant to head here, now.

What Makes It Awesome

Shout out to you, Chinese-foodies! Tak Heng is back in town, and with a much larger space. The 60-seater restaurant also has the space for a party of a hundred now. Located on Keyatala Road, this crowd favourite might have a new space but they don't have so much of a new face (their food, we mean), which is fine by us because we love their typical Kolkata Chinese flavours.

Although the menu has many new things, they have made sure to keep the best of the earlier version intact. The Chimney Soup and Old School Pork are still cosy residents of the menu. But we are really excited about their Szechuwan Chicken Rice Bowls and Pork Wonton Noodles.

The owners Pritvish and Baishali Chakravarti wanted to make sure that the space serves authentic Chinese food (Kolkata being a hub for Chinese food, it's a given that we altered it all a bit according to our choice!). And the interiors are spot on. Red walls and furniture, hanging tea pots, fairy lights and Chinese lanterns and chopsticks.

At a pocket pinch of INR 900 for two, if you haven't already been here, you need to check this out today.

Pro-Tip

They have a special breakfast menu on Sundays, 8.30am onwards. Their party space will accommodate any number of people between 30 to 100.
