The two-floor tea boutique reminds us of old-fashioned English high teas with finger sandwiches and dainty china cups. They have a huge collection of teas to choose from — Darjeeling, white and green tea, oolong, and teas from China, Japan and Nepal. They prices begin from INR 150 {for one carafe which has enough for two cups}. A haven for those who love chai and good company, it’s a great opportunity to spend with mom.
Of if your mom prefers coffee, head out to Artsy, Kolkata’s first art cafe serving great food and tasteful art. They are one of the few cafes (or is it the only one?) serving Blue Tokai coffee, one of the best we have had in a long while. It’s cool, the bright blue tones are calming and unlike other cafes, it’s quiet.
