Tea With A View In Kurseong!

What Makes It Awesome?

Margaret's Tea Lounge is a must visit and is located in Kurseong town. I came across this hidden gem on the way from Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport. Margaret’s Deck is shaped like a ship deck, which offers a 270-degree view of the rolling hills of the Margaret Hope tea garden. If you wish to enjoy tea and snacks with an enchanting view of the tea gardens and hills this is the perfect place.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Standing at the deck you can see a breathtaking and panoramic view of the steep tea-slope gardens. It has a range of finest Darjeeling teas to select from.

The menu is continental and they serve light snacks as well such as quiches, an assortment of cookies (green tea, almond), quiches, scones, brownies and cheesecakes. They are also famous for their continental breakfast consisting of sausages and eggs.

I recommend you to try their Chilli Cheese Toast, Fish & Chips, Chicken & Mushroom Quiche and their Walnut Banana Bread.

They also have a cute little shop where you can purchase various varieties of tea and the walls describe the history of Tea and Darjeeling.

How Much Did It Cost?
