Every Calcuttan knows - chaat goes to our hearts, not tummies! That is why we couldn't resist writing about this chaatwala in New Alipore. His store is called Khirki Shree Hari Jalpan Shop, and true to its name, it'll feel like standing in a window-shaped shop. His menu isn't huge and consists of only 7 things. But that hasn't taken away from that fact that people from all over Kolkata go to eat at his shop.
His things will be slightly more expensive than your usual roadside chaatwala, but they are all worth it. His Aloo Dum you just cannot miss, pair it up with a Masala Thums Up. His paapri chaat and bhel are famous across the city. You can also try flavoured soda (khus and rose) at his shop. Hygiene is not an issue, at all. So you can keep those sanitisers in your bag!
