Have been eyeing this place for quite some time now - finally managed to drop in a couple of days ago & was floored beyond expectation, to say the least - talking about the first Pie based cafe in town - The Pie House
Nice & quirky interiors with an all yellow lighting plus some beautiful & intricate artwork greet you once you step inside the cafe - all sanitization protocols are in place & the menu is digitised via QR code as per the current standard practice of new normal
One is spoilt for choices once you scan that elaborate menu in terms of the wide array of pie delicacies on offer but what attracted my attention instantly was LitchiCoffee - yes you read that right - probably the only place in Kolkata that sells this unique coffee - a wonderful combo of litchi & cold coffee on the rocks - should appeal to any litchi lover
I also opted for CashelPie - a delicacy famous in Ireland generally made with beef but they have made it with Bacon & LambMince served with a puff pastry & loads of mashed potato - a delicious & filling meal indeed
The real deal for me was the dessert though - BananaPie - not much of a banana lover but this one stole my heart away - the combo of banana and Nutella was sheer chocogasm
Lovely meeting you in person finally dear Purbali & catching up with you Anirban is always a pleasure - thank you for the gracious hospitality - what awesome adda we had guys - didn't feel like the first meeting at all - can't wait to be back again at the soonest possible
