Just as you enter Patuli, you'll notice the Floating Market set up in all its glory. Being Kolkata’s first ever floating market, it's quite a visual treat, especially if you visit at night. It's amazing how you can get anything and everything that you'd expect to shop for at any local market, from fruits and vegetable to meat and other groceries, you can even get paan and chai here. Also, it houses two local salons for quick haircut and shops where you can get your shoes polished. The market is set up on a pretty large scale and needs some time to be covered in its entirety.
