Park Street in Kolkata is known as the food and party street of the city, needing absolutely no introduction. One of its OG nightclubs, Myx, got a recent revamp as a lounge a couple of years ago and is now called Myx Bar & Kitchen. What sets Myx apart from its other counterparts is its huge separate party area, which most of the other clubs don't offer. This area spans 5,000 sq ft, making it a 70-seater resto-bar.
Even their menu is quite interesting. Specially curated by the renowned Chef Shaun Kenworthy, each dish of theirs, whether new or traditional, is offered with a punch. To start off your night with some cocktails and delicious finger foods, we'd suggest you get their Over-the-Top cocktail and Malai Cottage Cheese with Parmesan and truffle oil. The cocktail is infused with vodka and five Indian spices, namely, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, pepper and chilli. It is a little spicy and fizzy, leaving you with the right aftertaste. The cottage cheese dish with a dash of Parmesan is soft, with the flavour of truffle oil setting it apart from the regular paneer tikkas served in other joints.They always have something or the other going on. Party lovers would love hip-hop nights on Wednesdays or live bands on Thursdays. The staff is known for their courtesy and politeness. It’s an excellent spot for group outings or for those looking to dance to lively music with a big group of friends, cousins or with their partners.
