Based out of Ahmedabad, The V Design was started by Vinee Patel with the aim to curate artisan home and kitchen decor products that are a beautiful blend of natural, eco-friendly materials and modern designs. Find artistic and timeless pieces in coasters, trays, platters, bowls, cutting boards, cake stands, mason jars, bread boxes, cutlery and planters - all of which are handcrafted by local artisans using materials sourced from across the country.
Inspired by her father's penchant for decorating the house, Vinee began designing tableware for herself and eventually started The V Design in 2016. She works with materials like wood, cement, terrazzo to create aesthetically pleasing pieces sure to elevate your dining table and kitchen. My favourites definitely include the White Turk and Terrazzo Natural coasters and bowls made of terrazzo stones. The mason jars made of sap wood are ideal to store all your cookies and nuts while the Koncrete Planter adds the right amount of green to your table. Their cake stands and cheese boards have been trending currently and are very sought after, so are their coasters, now in this wooden build and with a lotus carving on them. We also loved their green cutlery made from Sheesham Wood that looks clean and simple.
Prices for the serveware start at INR 500, coasters (set of four), trays and platters at INR 1,050, while the bowls cost around INR 1,700 and upwards.
