What Makes It Awesome

A lot of us, who can never get enough of momos, thukpas and all kinds of Chinese and Tibetan food, must have definitely heard of and also been to Tibetan Delight (we've lost count of the number of times we've been there!). Well, if you haven't yet, we suggest you drop in today. Trust us, you won't regret it!

The place is just behind Momo Plaza. Take the footpath next to Momo Plaza, walk a few steps and you'll spot a small, dilapidated, broken kinda gate on your left. Enter, follow the lane and then take a right and tadaa! You will have reached your destination. Don't go by the look of the place - it's just four tables that can seat about 16 people placed inside a small room with a Chinese lamp hanging over each table.

It's the food that'll keep bringing you back here. From momos and thukpas to different kinds of noodles and rice and mains, this place serves it all. The pan-fried momos, kotheys or the Pork Thukpa make for perfect appetisers. But if it's chicken that soothes your soul, then opt for the Chicken Lollypop or Chicken with Barbeque Sauce. They've got noodels, rice and meifoon of different kinds - veg, chicken, pork, prawn and mixed. You get to choose from chilli garlic, schezwan, Mongolian and Singaporean sauces. We'd definitely recommend the Chinese Chopsuey for vegetarians. For mains, you must try the Chilli Veg, Shanghai Chicken, Fish with Hot Garlic or any of their signature gravies.

There's no dessert so you can wash it all down with a bottle of coke, thumbs up or fanta. If Chinese food is your first love, then Tibetan Delight is one place that you can't miss out on.

What Could Be Better

We just wish the staff was a little more courteous and the place maintained slightly better hygiene.

Pro-Tip

The place is usually crowded. So, make sure you're there early or you'll have to wait.
