Art Rickshaw is hosting a first-of-its-kind Unicorn Street Art Festival and it’s going to be absolutely magical — here’s where we’re going on Sunday!
Here Are All The Reasons You Need To Go For The Unicorn Street Art Festival
Shortcut
Hit The Streets
Right across the streets of Hindusthan Park, in front of Art Rickshaw and Sienna Cafe, is where the unicorn street art festival is happening. Get ready for a day out in the sun {take full advantage of the last few days of good winter weather} and be showered in unicorn love, pastel colours and all the magical feels.
Tons of city artists are going to be showcasing their work — pros and professionals. Not just artwork, but photography, art installations and more as well. And, of course, everything will be unicorn themed.
Post 8 pm, there’s going to be a marathon painting session where over 300 feet of Hindusthan Park is going to be going under a magical transformation. Even you can sign up to paint the town red {or pink or purple!}. Fill up this form to register — it doesn’t even matter if you’re a pro painter, you literally have to fill in the lines.
All The Unicorn Merch
Have a friend who is unicorn obsessed? There’s going to be tons of merch up for grabs — T-shirts, mugs and so much more to satisfy our unicorn selves.
Uni-Grub
The unicorn food trend was all the buzz last year and Art Rickshaw is bringing the trend to the city. There are going to be tons of food stalls many of who are going to be selling unicorn-themed food and drinks. Think everything from cupcakes and milkshakes to cake, and more.
We're Live
The street art festival is going to set up multiple live art activities and interactive art installations as well. Coffee art, caricature, string art, bag painting and pottery are just some of the many activities you can get your hands dirty in.
Through the day, there are going to be talks, live music performances, sessions for the little ones and so much more.
Insta-Worthy
Your Instagram is going to go crazy for this festival. If you’re looking for great Insta pics, there are going to be tons of stuff you will go crazy over at the carnival. Not just the food, but also the gorgeous art, the installations and the general vibe. Everything is unicorn-inspired and/or pastel-themed and it’s going to absolutely magical.
We’ve got a sneaky feeling more than one person is going to turn up in unicorn theme outfits so you may want to wear yours too and join the unicorn fan club.
Anything Else?
The Street Festival is open to all. The entrance fee is just INR 20 — all the proceeds of which will go to charity.
Grab the squad, the kids and even the ‘rents for a friends and family day out. Check out their Facebook page for more detials. We promise you — there’s literally no better way to spend your Sunday afternoon
