Based out of Kolkata, Untouched celebrates individuality and womanhood by not conforming to stereotypes. The brand offers affordable slow fashion with each outfit and jewellery piece encouraging women to be and celebrate who they are every day.
The brand's collection includes dresses, tops, shirts, jackets, kaftans, co-ords, skirts and lehenga sets along with jewellery and accessories like belts and bow ties. We spotted an A-line halter dress with a self-love art embroidered on one of its pockets as well as a kaftan with a hand embroidered motif on the front imitating a woman wearing a bindi. It is the brand's ode to women and motherhood. We also love its collection of skirts, jackets and shrugs – stylish, comfortable and such a refreshing break from the usual, run-of-the-mill designs.
Its jewellery range is bold, vibrant and quirky – sure to make you stand out in the crowd. The pieces are made of different kinds of materials like threads, beads, fabric, rope, clay, metal, rubber cords, cowries and jute. A lot of them are hand painted. I loved the necklaces named after Maya Angelou (handcrafted, dainty three-piece necklace worn with a black rubber cord with metal beads on it) and Razia Sultan (organic boho piece made with polymer clay, painted in different shades of green with a layer of gold paint and metal beads in between).
