Venting About Your Ex Can Win You Free Beer At The Irish House

The Irish House is hosting a singles week and if you’re sick of all the Valentine’s fever that’s going around, you need to head here.

The decor will have you quite literally laughing out loud. Look up and you’ll see these hilarious quotes on placards hanging from the ceiling: “I could fall in love but I would rather fall in beer’ and ‘Im single, drinking double and seeing triple’ are some of our favourite ones. There’s a punching bag and gloves hanging from the corner — if you’re frustrated or need to channelise some serious frustration, dorn the gloves and punch away.

They also only have single’s pick-me-up songs blasting through the speakers {Beyonce’s Single Ladies was definitely a favourite with the DJ}. The pub is also full of other singles so you won’t feel left out at all.

The Singles Freedom wall is another awesomesauce addition. You can write why you love being single on the Post-It notes provided and stick it on the wall. Funniest answers win free beer!

Even if you don’t want to write on the wall, you should definitely go read it. Lots of happy singles writing about being single and other more frustraed singles venting on the wall {some of the entries are definitely PG 13!}. One particularly frustrated person had even left his phone number!

If all the celebrating singlehood isn’t enough to excite you, the LIIT menu should. With tons of variations on the classic LIIT, these potent jugs of liquor {they really don’t scrounge of the tequila and the vodka!} are what you need to forget your woes {you literally won’t be able to walk straight after two drinks}.
