City folks now have a new address to bookmark, with Royal China opening doors for its lounge & bar inside Forum Courtyard Mall.
Are you an admirer of oriental cuisine, in additon to classic cocktails and a regal ambience? Well, then no better place than Royal China, which is divided into two parts – the lounge & bar and the fine dinging area. The lounge area is spread across a huge area of 1,500 sq ft with a seating capacity of 56 people. And keeping with the oriental theme, the colour red is predominant in the whole space.
Before you think of jumping straight on to the cocktails, let us tell you that the long bar is self-serviced. You can go ahead and order as many Espresso Martinis, Tom Collins, Mojitos and Jagerbombs as you please.
The seafood lovers are thoroughly going to enjoy the spread, which includes delicacies such as the pan fried whole fish pomfret in Szechuan sauce, fried prawn chueng fun, roast duck in Cantonese style and other marine options like squids and abalone. And what you can't miss out is their dimsums which includes the prawn and chive dumpling, scallop siu mai, prawn, crabmeat & black pepper dumpling, and seafood dumpling with ginger chilli oil. Vegetarians can try options such as truffle and edamame (we are told this one is a favourite), wild mushroom crystal, and vegetable & chive dumplings. A perfect way to call it a night would be a spoonful of gulity pleasure with the melting chocolate dome or the chocolate mud cake!
