Wow! China is here with their second (first one is at Park Street) casual dining restaurant in Salt Lake Sector V. Known for providing Chinese with an Indian twist in a bar-and-bistro set up, Wow! China’s latest offering has a vibe that is straight off the streets of Shanghai.
Be it the bright reds and yellows, or the hand-pulled rickshaw with cushioned seats, or hand-painted watercolor Chinese murals - the ambience is unmistakably oriental. Add to that details like the Chinese style hand painted fans and a bar with neon lights with splashes of red.
The restaurant offers a la carte as well as buffet option with live counters. The fusion of Indian and Chinese dishes with a very on the go compact menu with limited soups, starters, noodles, rice and main course, is what this place is about. Some of the signature dishes include Chilli Cheese Stuffed Mushroom,Chicken Wrapped Prawns (deep-fried prawns wrapped with chicken tossed in a spicy sauce), Schezwan Eggs (eggetarians are going to love this one!)., Exotic Veg in Oyster Sauces, Fish in Schezwan Sauce, Crab in Butter Garlic Sauce, Chicken in Chili Basil Sauce, and So Wow Khao Suey.
The highlights of the dessert menu are, Molten Chocolate Spring Roll and House Special Cinnamon Ice Cream amongst many others. WOW! China Bistro also offers a plethora of refreshing mocktails like Alexander The Great, Pick Me Up, Stopwatch and Freak Shakes to name a few. The cocktail bar will be launched soon too.
