What's Happening

They fall short in vying for the better part of our curiosity and attention because the masters and the stalwarts take it all.  But now here they are (a group of indie artists) putting up an exhibition to wow you with their creative flair.

It's time to shake things up and look beyond the known and famous, and just to do this you can head over to Gallery Gold on Dec 26 and 27, as young and budding artists from the city put together their artworks for display.

Aptly named 'Youth Art Scene', this exhibition will showcase artworks of different mediums and forms by some fifty odd indie artists. From digital art by NIFT student (Kashyap Purushottam) to travel photographs by young professionals (Tirthankar) and street photographs by young graduates (Sauhardya Sengupta), we're excited to pick some new style and kind of art by these young and enthusiastic creators, here.

An interdisciplinary and multi-art pop up, there'll also be music on both days in the evening (5:30 pm onwards) to catch. We're eager to check out the scene as budding musicians and singers Kinjal Mujherjee, Shounak Das, Anuruddha Sarkar, Nilesh Debgupta, Soumalya Das and other to take to the floor.

Price Includes

The exhibition is free for all to attend. Artworks will start from INR 1,000 and you can find prints starting from INR 500 here.

Make A Note

More interestingly, the exhibition is also doing a fundraiser there to help support a new organization Blue Patch that aims to eradicate the use of plastic from the city.
