Built by Sultan Muhammed Shah, Aga Khan III in 1892, this palace is best known as the palace where Mahatma Gandhi was arrested and imprisoned for 21 months. The room in which Gandhi stayed remains untouched till date. You can see his books, clothes, writing desk, letters and spectacles on display along with Kastura Bai’s {his wife} personal items.
