It was the intention of Kanika Mutreja and her business partner Apoorva Antarkar to make customised fashion available to everyone at affordable prices. So, this duo founded Aks in 2018 and since have won hearts with their simple, minimal and unique designs.
The studio is very spacious with a capacity of easily accommodating over 12 people without any trouble. Also, the salon is a completely different section and doesn’t mingle with the clothing store. The clothing store offers summer dresses and kurtas, blouses and tops. There are a few accessories that include jewellery, dainty shoes and a few home accessories and beauty products.
The studio has been catering to women’s fashion since its inception and has recently started to tap into men’s fashion too. We were really impressed with their off-beat short kurtas for men. You can wear it at any ceremony or to your favourite bar and rock an Indo-Western look. You'll find patterned asymmetrical short kurtas, simple angarkhas, floral shirts and other men's outfits here.
