Area 51 in Baner is one of Pune’s oldest discotheques. Designed to look like an alien spacecraft {hence the name}, this contemporary-style three-tiered nightclub is spread over 10,000 sq feet and is circular in shape {of course}.

Tell Me More

Open *only* on Saturday nights, from 8.00pm until 1.30am, the club is usually packed with party-goers, grooving to commercial/Bollywood electronic music. The dance floor actually revolves, and their hi-tech sound system and lights are enough to make you think you’ve been abducted into the grooviest space-craft in the universe. The food here is multi-cuisine, and they serve the usual Indian-Chinese-Continental fare. Stick to starters and finger-food, as this is not your usual restaurant for dining – it’s a club. Drinks are reasonably priced, but not cheap – and will keep you grooving all night long.

So, We're Saying...

Entry rules are strict, so keep that in mind when making your plans. Their charges are usually INR 1500/couple {full cover}, and single ladies can avail free entry until 10.00pm, after which it’ll cost you INR 500/head {also full cover}. For their weekly Saturday night DJ gigs, stay tuned to their Facebook Page.
