Shortcut

Our recent visits to the clustered lanes and by-lanes in Camp to discover something awesome, led to The Baker’s Supermarket, a small gem of a store on Bootee Street, hidden midst a chain of food kiosks, hardware shops and ancient two-floored houses in the area.

Tell Me More

Blame it on the old-school lanes or the traffic at Camp, the location of Baker’s Supermarket is an easy miss. You’ll have to take the first right from Synagogue Street to find it quietly tucked at a corner, near the railway booking office. This place houses everything one can imagine when it comes to baking. From round and heart-shaped cake tins, starting at INR 400 to designer chocolate moulds, cookie cutters and more, this place is every baker’s paradise. Other baking essentials like scrappers, spatulas, piping nozzles in tons of designs, elegant cake tier stands, turntables, sieves and measuring scoops are sold at wholesale prices. What’s more? They also have a VAST collection of dry/wet yeast, fresh whipping cream, meringue buttercream, colourful toppings & filling and quirky cupcake liners – basically, everything {under the sun} that can make your cake look straight out of Pinterest. For gifting options, you can perhaps explore their range of colourful cake boxes with polka dots and gorgeous bows, starting at INR 299.
