    What Is It?

Only an hour and a half drive away from the city, Baneshwar is the perfect weekend getaway for nature lovers, animal lovers and history enthusiasts!

    How Do I Get There?

Approximately 37 kilometres from Pune via NH8, the road to Baneshwar is pretty simple. Take the Lal Bahadur Shastri Road and the Sinhagad Road to hit the highway in Kudale Baug. Follow NH8 for another 25 kilometres, towards SH65. A couple of kilometres on SH65 will lead you to the Baneshwar access road. For a detailed map, click here.

What Is So Awesome About It?

Amidst dense jungle, runs a cold and fresh water waterfall with cute little tortoises in it who come to you asking for cuddles!

Baneshwar, is a recently rediscovered place although established around the year 1749,  and is one of the least explored places around Pune and that’s just one of the best parts of Baneshwar! The other one being that this place houses beautiful fresh water waterfalls that gush through the rocky terrain of the Sahyadris and rock cut gorges! What’s more? The ancient temple of Baneshwar has a small pond where you can play with tortoises and fish. Must-visit the botanical garden in the temple premises that has bamboo groves, exotic trees and river beds.

    Anything Else?

There are various small food joints  {thelas} which serve delicious home-style food such as misal-pav, Pithla-bhakri, bhaji and other stuff.

    So, We're Saying...

Take a break from city and head to Baneshwar for the most natural stress busting session!
