What Is So Awesome About It?

Amidst dense jungle, runs a cold and fresh water waterfall with cute little tortoises in it who come to you asking for cuddles!

Baneshwar, is a recently rediscovered place although established around the year 1749,  and is one of the least explored places around Pune and that’s just one of the best parts of Baneshwar! The other one being that this place houses beautiful fresh water waterfalls that gush through the rocky terrain of the Sahyadris and rock cut gorges! What’s more? The ancient temple of Baneshwar has a small pond where you can play with tortoises and fish. Must-visit the botanical garden in the temple premises that has bamboo groves, exotic trees and river beds.
