Fantasy Snack & Juice Bar

Students of Wadia College dearly accept it as their ‘katta’, Fantasy Juice Bar at Bund Garden Road is the place to go if you’re hungry and broke. It offers a large variety of rolls, noodles, curries, cold coffees, fresh juice and burgers. It is also known as one of the most famous cafes in Pune. You must-try their sitaphal milkshake for INR 90 and when the season comes, the mango milkshake is a total winner out here. It is open even on Sundays and is operational from 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM. It is approximately priced at INR 300 for two.

Cafe Durga

MIT folks, there is no dearth of cool cafes in Kothrud. Whether you are bunking your lectures or are taking a break for a cuppa chai, Mayur Colony is the best hangout spot for you. There are many cafes and eateries here, such as Iddos, Monginis, among other bakeries. Even the iconic Durga cafe is right here, where you can eat a sandwich and drink their special cold coffee. A meal for two here will set you back INR 400 and probably less, because Cafe Durga is one of the cheapest places to eat at. While you are around, you might want to checkout Yollops in the same area that serves a delicious range of ice-creams that cannot be found anywhere else in the city.

Roopali

Chill with your squad at Roopali with their special coffee at FC Road. Known amongst various generations of Pune as a hangout spot, Roopali is indeed the best place to sit, talk, gossip and chill with your friends. The only drawback of this place is that the place is most of the times full and you can't really grantee how long it would take for a place to be available. However, you can always take you coffee and hangout near the varenda area of the restaurant.

Chai

Who does not like having a great conversation with friends over a cup of nice chai? Situated in Viman Nagar, Chai is a one-stop place to enjoy breakfast and a garam pyali of chai. Don't miss their butter-bread toast which just costs INR 10. Also, every Sunday, you can enjoy an unlimited brunch for INR 399. Under INR 599, you can enjoy a drink, appetiser and a main-course dish. Try their pasta bowls, freak shakes and small platters of munchies to have a great time.

Punjabi Dhaaba

Symbians from the Viman Nagar campus who love to enjoy authentic Punjabi food without burning a hole in their pockets, head to Punjabi Dhaaba. The place provides typical veg and non-veg Indian dishes coupled with desi bread and beverages. The best part about the place is that it has the option of half-plate dishes, which lets students enjoy a variety at affordable prices.
