Cafe Maroo

Nestled in one of the lesser-travelled by-lanes of Aundh Gaon, Cafe Maroo is one of the oldest Korean restaurants in Pune. A hidden gem located in Aundh, K is a tiny eatery that serves authentic Korean, Japanese and Asian delicacies. The ambiance is simple, with no added frills, leaving you to concentrate on the food. The menu offers delicacies like kimchi fried rice, raw tuna bibimbab, tangsu, Japanese curry plates and more. They even have set menus that you can choose from. You would have to spend about INR 1200 for a meal for two here.


Shizusan serves some of the best Oriental fare in the city, and has an extensive menu that offers food from all over South East Asia. If it’s Korean food that you’re looking for, you need to try the , Korean-style gochujang buri bop here. Other than that, the highly recommended dishes here include pulled chicken baos, Singapore chilli crab, hibachi-style Japanese chilli fried riceotak otak  (kingfish wrapped in banana leaf), Chinese mantou buns, and Thai and Malay-inspired massaman curry.
