    With stores and vendors aplenty in Pune selling a variety of clothes, accessories, footwear and much more, you need not go anywhere else but score everything in this city itself. Mind you, you can find a variety of merchandise from these areas.  Here are the 5 prominent markets you should look at. 

    FC Road

    When on FC road, adopt the mantra of shop till you drop. For reasonable prices, you can score some pretty outfits, artificial jewellery, footwear, bags and electronic accessories. Be it tops, palazzos, dresses, winter-wear, bottoms, totes, boots, slippers, pajamas, kurtis or even ethnic skirts, find it all starting at just INR 150. There are several stalls for artificial jewellery and other accessories as well. Right beside FC road is Hong Kong lane where you can buy jewellery, earphones, pretty phone covers and other things. If you are tired of carrying your heavy bags, we suggest you take a break to hog on yummy street-food and sip on sodas and juices. With cafes and kiosks galore, this street is the perfect amalgamation of food and fashionable goodies.

    This area is huge and has no dearth of pretty stores and street vendors selling colourful merchandise. For the last-minute fashion fixes, head to this area which is full of gorgeous boutiques. You can score for fancy party-wear from these places on North Main Road starting at INR 800. For beautiful ballet flats, mojdis, as well as fancy chappals, head to lane number 1 & 2. You can also find colourful bags, tops as well as ghagras there. This area has super adorable patisseries and eateries too.



    Aundh, Pune

    Sarees, suits, kids-wear, men's couture- find it all in Parihar Chowk, DP road or ITI Road of Aundh. There are so many stores on the main road near Westend, that there is no need to go out of the area to shop. The area is known for their saree stores, where you can find a huge variety. Be it Chanderi, silks, Maheshwaris, cotton, these stores have no dearth of them. For men, there are many shops on Nagras road selling leather shoes, tees, jeans and jackets.

    Tulsibaug & Laxmi Road

    These old areas in Pune are in proximity to each other. Right from beautiful bracelets, chapla haar (a type of necklace) to mojdis and cholis, you can come here to shop for your ethnic as well as western fashion needs. The saree shops here will spoil you with their wide range. You can also score comfortable casual wear from the streets and shops of Laxmi Road. The Tulsibaug market also sells many daily use items and utensils. Whatever you fail to find in other parts of Pune, Tulsi Baug will have it.

    The main road near Marz-O-Rin or Clover Centre, is a heaven for shopaholics. From vintage jewellery to party dresses, score everything starting at INR 100. Clover Centre has no dearth of beautiful fabric stores from where you can shop for any type of dress/fabric material suiting all budgets. This area is ideal to visit if you are looking for customised fashion as there must be innumerable stylists and tailoring shops here. The streets also have small shops selling ready-made blouses, crop tops and dupattas.
