Formerly known as Ales Brews and Ciders Brewing Company, the bar in Kalyani Nagar has revamped itself as The Bollywood Brewing Company. Located opposite Trump Towers, the bar has an indoor space that doesn't wear much decor but has a wall full of Bollywood movie posters. The outdoor area has a stage, possibly for liv gigs and entertainment.
The Bollywood Brewing Company is of course, a taproom, so you should visit for its craft beer. Keeping in mind their theme, they've given their craft beer fun names too. So you can drink Natwarlaal (Hefeweizen), Bahubali (orange corn lager) and Kaalia (rice lager) among other brews. A glass of their craft beer will cost you INR 199 and a pitcher is priced at INR 899.
This microbrewery also serves some delicious bar bites. You must try their porky mess sliders and Sriracha lotus stems, spinach corn savoury pancakes, broccoli galouti, Goan sausage stir fry, lal maas gosht tikka, among other interesting bar bites. For groups, there are pizzas with some interesting toppings like wasabi prawn, for example. And, of course, they have North Indian mains in case you'd like to eat your fill. They also have a shahi rabadi panna cotta for dessert, including the usual suspects like royal falooda, gulab jamun with ice-cream, mini rasagulla among others.
A meal for two here will set you back INR 1,200 and a pint of beer is priced at INR 199. The space has a full bar too, free parking and free WiFi.
