Bubble Bee brought the Hong Kong trend of ‘bubble waffles’ to Pune in December 2016, and it’s picked up like crazy. Thy encourage you to DIY your own toppings, which they then serve to you with the pillowy bubble-waffle in a take-away cup. We hear their Chunky Monkey – banana waffle with nutella, whipped cream and caramel; Rocky Road – chocolate waffle w/chocolate truffle cream, chocolate ice cream, ferrero rocher and nuts; Tiramisu – chocolate waffle with coffee ice cream, mascarpone spread, kitkat, and caramel drizzle; and unusual Calcutta Meetha – red velvet waffle with paan ice cream, with tutti frutti and dessicated coconut topping, are combinations worth trying.
