Dravidas Bistro is now relocated in Viman Nagar beside Tea Villa Cafe with a bigger seating area, both indoor and outdoor.
Known for their healthy, wholesome, and delicious South Indian food and a very unique concept of building your own thali where you get to choose various elements according to your taste and cravings. With this feature, you can even choose the portion size, hence preventing any sort of food wastage. This place ensures that the food quality and quantity is good, and the amount you spend won't burn a hole in your pocket.
So the thali (large thali) I ordered had rice, sambhar, rasam, kachiya moru, ghee dal, payasam, green moong thoran, Karam Petti roast, papad, pickle, tomato rice, curd rice and pepper mushroom, and ela ada.
My favourite has to be the combination of dahi rice with pepper mushrooms, and I highly recommend everyone reading this to try it out, it's delicious. All the other elements were also on point, I would have loved it if the rasam was a bit spicier.
The payasam was too sweet for my liking, but I loved that it was loaded with dry fruits. I also tried the appam korma and loved it, yet another must-have when you visit this place.
