If you are into War history like a lot of us, then this museum will definitely excite you. Built in 1994, the museum is known to be one of the oldest and most prominent museums when it comes to War cavalry and is one of a kind in all of Asia. From tanks to self-propelled guns, specialist vehicles and armoured cars, the museum has played a very important role in the country’s security over a different period. All over the museum, you can explore descriptive boards that give detailed information about tanks from WWI and WWII. You can also check out the tanks that perform specialised services such as aircrew recovery, bridge laying, mine-detonation, and dozing. The museum remains open for public even during the Republic Day and Independence Day so make sure you plan your trip around that time.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm. It's closed on Mondays. The entry fee is INR 10, and there's an extra charge for photography and videography inside the museum.
