What Makes It Awesome?

Let's accept it, nothing shouts comfort food more than Chindian food (Indian Chinese). Whether it's a celebration or just a mood lifter meal, there is nothing that a plate full of noodles or a hot bowl of soup can't fix. China Grill has been a renowned chain of restaurants in Pune for years now, especially when it comes to Chindian food.

With over three locations spread across Viman Nagar, Wanowrie and PCMC- China Grill serves some delicious Chinese delights that you can't say no to. Their outlet in the City One Mall is the most recent addition to their franchise and we thought of stopping by for some lunch while exploring the mall. The restaurant is set up as a typical mall restaurant - black chairs and tables, spacious booths and interiors that match the theme of the restaurant.

When you head here to dine, try their very famous dragon rolls that come in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. These rolls are filled with Oriental spices and depending on what you select - you'll either get meat or veggies as the filling. We would also highly recommend trying 'gai hq bai ton' which is a delicious chicken starter that comes wrapped in a banana leaf. In the main course, they offer regular Chinese dishes along with some great crab, lamb and pray dishes.

Apart from Chinese dishes they also have some really yummy Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian and Vietnamese delicacies that you must try. But definitely order the mango pastry and chocolate bomb for dessert. A meal for two at China Grill will set you back INR 1,000 and a pint of beer here is priced at INR 200.

What Could Be Better?

The service at the restaurant is a tad bit slow which can surely be improved.
