City One Mall: Stores For Apparel, Bags & More
W For Women
We absolutely love this brand! W For Women is where you can shop for kurtis, salwaar sets and spend moderately, while at it. For INR 1,000 you can score a printed kurta that’ll make you look modest and well-dressed for work. What I love about W is that their styles, cuts and prints are fit for modern day women and break from traditional patterns. The W store is located on the ground floor of the mall.
Another brand I love for kurtas and salwaar sets, Aurelia is a bit more traditional with its prints, compared to W; and quite simple too. You’ll find straight kurtas starting at INR 600. And, you can easily wear these to work or for small occasions and festivities. It’s a very budget brand, especially during the sale season. I’ve scored several kurtas I wear on jean for about INR 700 from here during sales. The store is located right beside W on the ground floor of the mall.
A trusted jean brand, there’s obviously nothing better than Levis when you’re looking for a good, sturdy pair of denims. The brand usually prices its products starting at INR 1,500 to INR 2,000. That’s why, it’s best to shop here whenever there’s a sale. The Levi’s store is on the ground floor of City One Mall and offers denims, and a few casual tees and shirts for men. Their collection for women’s apparel is very limited, which is standard to most Levi’s stores.
If you’re all about budget shopping, Reliance Trends is your best bet. Offering everything from Indian to western wear which includes kurtas, palazzos, salwaar sets, lehenga sets, jackets, dresses, jeans, tops, bags and more - this multi-brand has upped its collection in recent years. And, we love it! We spotted bags for women starting at INR 500, pair of jeans starting at INR 800, kurtas starting at INR 600 and more. Trends is spread across the ground and first floor of the mall. It has a kid’s and a men’s section too.
Her N She
A local brand with three other outlets, I absolutely love shopping for bags at Her N She. Their collection comes from Hong Kong, so you can expect very cutesy items. Think: Strawberry-shaped coin purses, sling bags that have a telephone receiver that you can plug into your phone to answer calls, unicorn backpacks, unicorn diaries, pens with a rainbow attached and so many other totes, slings and backpacks you can shop for. The prices vary as the collection changes. Currently, their pens start at INR 80, unicorn diaries are priced at INR 400. They also have their own brand of sunglasses, Nara, which has several cool shaped shades starting at INR 1,000.
