As we walked down the MIT lane in Kothrud, we came across Community Cafe, a charming little eatery with quirky wall murals, colourful sunshades, quaint cart-like kitchen counters and old-school street lamps on either side.

The brainchild of three friends – Parth, Vikrant and Ajinkya, Community Cafe is a restaurant for the people, by the people. The vibe is extremely versatile; from students spending hours finishing their assignments to musicians collaborating for impromptu jamming sessions. Barring this, they also arrange for live sports screenings, gigs and stand-up comedy shows.

Coming to the menu, it’s pretty much filled with comfort food – pasta, pizzas, salads, bruschetta, sandwiches, burrito bowls and more. We recommend you try their all-day breakfast options that include everything from homemade granola to crispy french toasts served with sweet syrup. Carnivores must try their murg lehsooni tikka and honey-mustard chicken sandwich along with a glass of chilled Oreo shake to beat the summer heat.
