The weekend is meant to spend some quality time with near and dear ones. So thought of visiting Over the Top this Friday evening with some of my close friends.
It is a rooftop restaurant located in Radisson Blu Hinjewadi. The ambience is tranquil with a poolside view to enjoy the food while relaxing in a calm atmosphere. The aura there is too soothing and relaxing. It gives you the pleasure of dining out in open-air.
Staff are courteous and service was on time. The professionalism of every staff is top-notch.
They have a variety in drinks menu out of which we tried Ward 8 and Clovers Club. Both the cocktails were really good and had a perfect balance of flavours.
Then we headed towards the Starters section in which we tried the below dishes :
Karari Roti - It was made of mix wheat flour, salt and ghee. It was garnished with spread coriander leaves. It was crisp and good in taste.
Japanese Fried Prawns - It was crispy from outside and soft from inside which made it more attractive and delicious!!
Ajwaini Fish Tikka - As the name suggests it was caraway seeds infused Fish kebab which was cooked in tandoor. It was presented well and the fish was soft and cooked well too. The caraway flavour was balanced and not overpowering.
Babri Kebab - It was minced meat chunks stuffed inside a cylindrical roll and cooked in tandoor. The flavour came out well.
Then moving on to the mains, we had Chicken Parmigiana and Pardewali Chicken Biriyani.
Chicken Parmigiana is mostly a Continental dish where Pan-seared Chicken breast is served along with Spaghetti. This dish had a little tangy flavour which I liked. It is a must-try dish for Continental food lovers.
Pardewali Chicken Biriyani had the authentic taste of Hyderabadi Biriyani with a ghee twist in it which enhanced its aroma and flavour. It was delicious!!
And to end the heavy meal with a sweet note, we had Sizzling Brownie and Red Velvet Cheesecake.
The Red Velvet Cheese Cake was presented very beautifully. The taste was amazing and I would surely recommend this.
Over the top of the Top stand for its soothing ambience, great food and amazing hospitality. Would surely love to drop down again with my kiths and kins to enjoy my food here.
