This Dhaba styled restaurant on FC Road is a popular hangout joint and is seen swarming with students. A small and sweet place with quite a vibrant ambience and honestly visited this place years later. It so brings back old memories. Let us start with my food journey over here, shall we?
Started with their Tomato Pudina Shorba and Palak Shorba. The Palak Shorba was thinner inconsistency and a great start to our meal. A warm and comforting dish with the goodness of spinach, garlic and mild spices. The Tomato Pudina Shorba tastewise was decent enough and still could have been better.
Moving over had tried the Paneer Lajawab, Aloo Hydrebadi, Amritsari Tikki and Paneer Kathi Roll. I would suggest that one should try their Paneer Lajawab and Paneer Kathi Roll for sure. Both these dishes were served to us as a savoury snack and taste were good. Loved the preparation
Then from the main, there were so many interesting options to choose from but went ahead with Sarson Ka Saag with Makki KiRoti, Ajwaini Paneer, Cheese Angori and Dal Saat Nizam. Honestly liked the Daal Saat Nizam. The taste was simple and full of flavours and tasted well with Garlic Naan and Onion Kulcha. All the dishes were simple yet nourishing food prepared with pure ingredients but still, there is a scope for improvement in terms of taste and flavours. The presentation was good enough though!
The entire meal ended on a sweet note with their Matka Kulfi and Paan Icecream. Both the desserts were yum and Matka Kulfi sealed the entire food deal.
So concluding, the staff over here were very courteous and the service was good. Had a good experience though
