Explore Pune's History With A Walk Around The Old Town

Popular travel and experience curating group, The Western Routes is hosting their weekly heritage walk. The walk starts at Shaniwar Wada's Dilli Darwaja and takes you around the heritage monuments of Pune. You'll of course get a history lesson during the walk too, so that way you can get to know your city better.

The walk starts at 9am sharp and ends at 12pm at Vishrambaug Wada. You'll get a chance to visit old temples, bazaars and houses, and even get a chance to grab some Maharashtrian snacks at heritage eateries in the old town.

As this is a walking tour, you'll meet the group at Shaniwar Wada's Dilli Darwaja at 9am sharp. All through the walk, you'll be around the multiple Peths that was once Pune and is now called old Pune.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and carry a camera, in case you'd like to capture the city's history.
