If you are an aspiring film maker or just a sheer lover of the art of movie making, head to Flame University in Lavale for their 6th edition of FirstCut - a student film festival. Students from all around the world submit their movies and come together to appreciate the work of their fellow contestants. Filmmakers send in movies for the four main categories- Fiction, Non-Fiction, Animation and Nano The event is open to all and if you thought it's just watching the films, you are wrong! There will be interactive sessions with individuals from the industry, fun events, masterclasses and much more!

FirstCut Take 6 will take place at the sprawling FLAME University campus in Lavale, half an hour from Pune.
Make a note
The event spans three days, and the drive to FLAME takes quite some time. Setting out early is advisable. Parking won't be a hassle that way either.
