When at Brasserie Cinq, dine as the French do. With tastefully done-up interiors and elegantly plated French classics, this new bistro on Dhole Patil Road is creating ripples amongst the food connoisseur-community of the city.

What Makes It Awesome?

Are you searching for authentic French cuisine in the city? Your search ends here at Brasserie Cinq, a quaint bistro on DP road where you can pamper your taste-buds with some super delicious French classics. From mains like Bouillabaisse, Ratatouille and French pork belly steak to sides like tartines, salmon roulades and Dauphinoise potatoes, they have it all kinds of delicacies for you to savour on.

We absolutely loved the starter spread which consisted of mushroom a la grecque, avocado, poached poulain and ricotta tartines, French onion soup as well as goat cheese and spinach scouffle. For mains, you can opt from a variety of steaks, the French fish stew called Bouillabaisse which was originated from the fishing town of Marseille as well as confit duck leg with apple and beet marmalade. Pasta lovers can dig into a variety of creamy pasta especially the linguini one with buerre (butter) sauce and authentic truffle oil.

If you love sea-food, brace yourselves to try their succulent salmon roulade, grilled prawns in lemon and citrus butter as well as the Provencal clams which are freshly cooked in basic, chilli-garlic butter and are served with authentic baguettes. We went the healthy way and tasted their classic salads. With a dressing of French vinaigrette and olive oil, we loved the grilled peach, burrata, passion-fruit and vinacotta salad. Crunchy and healthy, the variety of unconventional salads amazed us.

We give brownie points to the plating of these dishes. With the correct selection of crockery, garnishing elements and sauces, these beautifully-plated dishes are totally Pinterest-worthy.

What Could Be Better?

As of now, there is no outdoor seating available. We hope it starts soon as the view is pretty and we can have the experience of dining in an open-air French cafe.

Pro-Tip

Coffee lovers, you have to try their spongy Tiramisu which is perfectly infused with coffee flavour and is served with espresso ice-cream. We also recommend the Creme-Brulee, a classic French dessert that is served with smooth yoghurt sorbet.
