Witness some gorgeous sunsets and the perfect cityview offerings from these amazing rooftop bars in the city. Enjoy live music, booze with a view, and the company of your friends and loved ones too. So in case you’ve been postponing that meetup with your friends, now seems to be the perfect time for the catch-up and we’re here to make deciding the place easier for you.

The Tenth Floor

Picture this: You witness the bird eye view of the city with the cool breezy air blowing on your face with a cocktail in hand, and free-flowing conversations with friends. Yep, that’s what The Tenth Floor is all about. With a well-stocked bar, and serving some of the best concoctions in the city. Our clear favourites from their menu, a unique Gin and green tea infusion (talk about healthy and delish infusions) with Tanqueray, malai chaap broccoli and their margaritas. This bar is known for their elaborate drunches. Talking of interesting menus, TTF tops the charts where they have food categories as per the floor number, ground being the quick and easy bites and the 10th one being desserts, and honestly we don’t mind checking them all out.

Filament Bar

From taking work calls in the morning, to an elaborate drink and dine scene in the evening, Filament is the place where you can do it all. A super boho bar that has a snooker table, indoor and outdoor seating and an expansive variety of Indian food and cocktail options. If you ask us, “Morning Star” made with whisky base spirit,  and “Wise whiskey” are some of our favourite cocktails made with Black & White and you can pair it up with some yummy dal makhni and chicken tikka. YUM! They also host live music night every Sunday for all the Bollywood lovers out there.

Urban Foundry

Living up to its name, this place is themed to look like a foundry and its vintage, industrial decor adds to the overall rustic vibe. The wooden setting, very grunge-y look, straight out of a 90’s rock band poster makes its entire ambience quite interesting. The food, especially their pizzas, and the cocktails always leaves us wanting for more. “Smoked New York Sour” made with Black & White Scotch Whiskey, and vodka based “Purple Sky” are a few of our favourites from the menu.

Urbo

This place offers something for all your moods; they have divided the whole area into four different segments. Opt for “Reverb Lounge” for casual dining, “bespoke deck” for the outdoor seating and standing bar for all the live events, "Ultimate dining” for a dining experience like none other and “Open Street” for a more chilled out evening setup - and trust us, they ace ‘em all! They have outdone themselves with their food with the choice of multiple cuisines like Continental, North Indian, Mughlai and Chinese food and has an expansive cocktail menu with options like “Flaming Towers”, “Crystal White Lamborghini”- made using Ciroc Vodka and has Gordons gin as the pouring base.

High Spirits

To keep your spirits high, opt for the famous, the mighty, and the most loved bar in the city, High Spirits. The place is bright and colourful and the yellow colour chairs and the graffitis laden walls add to the overall splashy decor. Particularly famous for its bar selections like the Dirty Martini (made with Ciroc vodka and passionfruit), and Morning Glory (goes best with Johnnie Walker Black Label), paired up with some Linguini pasta: get ready for an altogether  delightful experience!

Pro-Tip:

Sanitisers and masks have become the new norm, and we’re happy to see restaurants and bars taking care of all the covid protocols set in place. In case you missed out, Diageo Bar Academy is #RaisingTheBar once again by providing our favourite bars with aid and support to make sure these outlets have all the necessary safety precautions. This global initiative includes equipping the outlets with sanitisation machines, IR thermometers, masks and gloves for the staff and training sessions for the bartenders/employees to help them welcome back customers safely. Check out the best resto bars we think you should head to.
