The place adorns a soft blue-and-white colour-play with red orchids potted at different corners. The outdoor seating has a bar, decorated with bird-cage shelves on the wall, multi-colour seats with floral-printed cushions and sophisticated lanterns. Merazo, in every way, is an ideal Instagram-worthy eatery at Wakad.

What Makes It Awesome
A Greek holiday may seem a little too far-fetched {for some of us}, but a close-enough experience can be a possibility at Merazo, a Santorini-themed restaurant, located near Jagtap Dairy in Wakad.

What Could Be Better?
We were a tad bit disappointed by the food menu. While we did expect a plethora of Greek delicacies {which wasn't the case}, it was rather a mix of multiple cuisines including Thai, Mediterranean, Indian and more. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our phad priew wan which was fish {or chicken} in pineapple and red pepper braised in sweet basil sauce. If you're in a mood for something light, we recommend you try their shish fattoush salad in char-grilled chicken, lettuce, parsley, lime and a dollop of garlic curd.
Anything Else?
We particularly loved their cocktail - Mandarin in five which is a brilliant mix tequila, vodka, Bacardi, gin and peach schnapps.
