What Makes It Awesome

Opened just a couple of months ago, The Munching Route at Baner is a quaint book cafe dedicated to all bibliophiles and foodies in the town. The interiors are quite nicely done - spacious, colourful, twin-seating areas and a wall that is turned in to a full-length rack of fiction and non-fiction books.

Coming to the food, The Munching Route has curated a menu dedicated to quick bites. We loved their cupcakes in red velvet and brownie fudge with fresh whipping cream on the top. Priced at INR 140, must-try the gold rush, a mushroom-based appetizer, great on the taste buds, light in the tummy. For non-veg items, we tried and loved their toasted chicken sandwich for INR 140 and olive and pesto chicken for INR 150. If you're a pizza person, don't leave the place without trying their mouth-watering Mumbai chicken pizza for INR 300, topped with onions, mushrooms, chicken, paneer and black olives.

Anything Else?

The Munching Route has free WiFi, which makes it a great place to work out of!
