So I recently paid visit to this cozy place located at Baner road - Filament Bar just opposite the greenpark. It was a sunday so we got a chance to taste their Sunday brunch. I wont be completely honest if I only talk about food or about the ambiance because combination of them makes the place a happening place. So to describe the place it's a cozy place with indoor and outdoor sitting area over ground and upper floor. The tables are placed in a way that it gives u coziness and privacy both at the same time with a view to the live counter and ofcourse the BAR. At a glance you will see all aged groups people chilling with drinks in their hand, indulged in their conversations, music and dancing. They also play live music on Sunday which is a big hit and even though live music shut down, their in house collection is also good enough to groove and make you go with the flow. This place definitely has something in it, the vibes are positive and happy, it is kinda #Happy Place in town. Food- They have a very different menu and so not like typical brunch with same main course & starters. We tried all possible items we could: Gin based cocktail- Gin bases drink topped with lemon and Ice, leaves your taste buds a sour and lemony taste. Sangaria & Apple Cider Sangaria- Sangaria topping mah chart since years remains mah favorite no matter what. Tried apple cider Sangaria for the first time but I choose to stick to mah classic. Draught Beer- Beer at its best. Fruity Caprioska and Caprioska- Tried both of them but ended up having 4 fruity Caprioska. The drink made to perfection with right amount of Alchol, mixers and fruit. And star of the Drinks- Sugarcane Mojito- If child hood gave us sugarcane juice adulthood gave me sugarcane mojito. A bit sweet drink served with Vodka. Kothambari salad- Being a non maharashtrian and not a health freak, its diffcult to make me eat such healthy things but in no time I ended up finishing it all. Mushroom and Anda Bhurji- Classic bhurji with Mushrooms. Cheese Cheery Pineapple- Classy Chakna since 80's. Best to compliment with your cocktails. Cheesy Loaded Fries- A bowl of fries topped with melted cheese. Pasta- Penne pasta in punk sauce and penne in arabiata, the regular and classic one which can never go wrong Singature dish of Maharashtra- Vada pav with mint chutney and cheese- and this is one of the very few vada pavs I liked and actually finished. Prawn Salad- A small portion of prawns laid on bed of lettuce tossed in Veeba sauces. Fish- They served variety of fishes and we picked pomfret which was served with mint chutney, cooked to perfection and every bite just melts in your mouth. Star of all the Dishes and big shoutout for the experiment- Chicken Gunna- Which as the name suggests is chicken prepared with mint chutney and sugarcane so it leaves your taste bud with mysterious and different taste,Bit sweet and bit spicy but good mysterious. All this for 1000 bucks per person. This place is definitely added to mah new favorites and not only because of the food or live music or ambiance but combining all three of them gives you a positive vibes and this place definitely has it in it.
