What Makes It Awesome

Located in Aundh near Medipoint hospital, Krishna is a little boutique. If you're one who loves ethnic wear in expensive fabric with little detailing, you'll love the collection at this store. You won't find loud colours or any designs and prints that scream in your face.

You’ll find long kurtas, simple lehengas that you could easily slip into, salwaar-suits that will make for the right kind of workwear when you're in the mood to go dressed in Indian wear and more. There are also a few designs with a bit of heavy embroidered work, but look elegant and will be apt for a shaadi you have to attend.

The boutique sources pieces from across India and has a few in-house designs as well. You'll find silk muslin, georgette, chikankari motifs on raw silk and a few other luxurious fabrics. But there are also simple fabrics that you could wear everyday. Think cotton, leheriya, bandhani among others that you could wear all day and still be comfortable in. The kurtas start at INR 1500 and the lehengas are priced at INR 1000. You can wear their lehengas as a skirt too and pair them with a crop top.

If you don't like buying ready-made kurtas, you can get one stitched too. Pick a fabric of you're liking from the store and get some help fro the in-house designer to decide on a style. Although, we recommend you know what you want before stepping in. They charge INR 900 for kurtas without lining.

What Could Be Better

We wish the store would offer more styles and variety in ethnic wear.
