Functioning out of a home-studio, Vichare's brand Koorm Studio has displayed its work in art galleries and exhibits across Mumbai and Pune. Started by Bharati Pitare, a paper-maiche artist in Pune, Olee Maatee is a brand and studio based off Law College Road in Erandwane. The artists here are all from rural areas in and around Pune and are graduates of the DeCAD (Devrukh College of Art and Design). The idea for this brand is part of Pitare's efforts to empower rural artisans. At the store (and on their website), you'll find home decor and lifestyle products made from clay, paper-maiche, and more.
