Pune is a city where people who came to India from Pakistan, specifically Sindhis, settled down and called the city their home. Today, you'll find the larger population of Sindhis primarily settled in Pimpri Chinchwad, the twin municipality of Pune.
Along with the Sindhis came their delectable cuisine, and one of my favourite places for Sindhi non-vegetarian food is Hotel Karachi Bhavan in Pimpri. Pimpri Chinchwad Municipality {or PCMC area} has many hidden gems, and Hotel Karachi is one of them.
Karachi Bhavan is famous for its non-vegetarian fare, which is predominantly mutton based. I recommend you try their mutton keema mix, which is a rich serving of mutton keema and mutton curry mixed together and served usually alongside crisp naan or chapatis.
Another tasty dish from Karachi Bhavan is their biryani. It's more like pulao with chunks of mutton in it. It's similar to what you'll find in South Indian establishments - ghee rice with chunks of mutton.
They have freshly marinated seafood, and tandoori options as well, which are served by weight and fried as per demand. Thus, the food is fresh and tasty. Their quantities are ideal and you don't tend to waste, which is great. Oh, and they serve bheja also. They also have a huge variety in vegetarian.
