What Is It?

Known to be one of the oldest heritage properties of Panchgani, Hotel Prospect dates back to the early 1900s. Surrounded by lush greenery and misty hills, we’re in love with their beautiful rooms, colonial king’s cottage, a private garden and a quaint library.

How Do I Get There?

Panchgani is about two-and-a-half-hours away from Pune. You can either drive down via NH48 or hire a cab. The roads are smooth, and the scenic beauty en route will make up for everything else.

What's So Unique About It?

The hotel has five cottages nestled atop a hill with breathtaking views of the forest and sunset. It’s the kind of place that assures absolute exclusivity; making it a perfect summer getaway from the otherwise chaotic city life.

Built in 1912, the hotel continues to retain its unfathomable colonial charm coupled with all the necessities of the modern day luxury. Prospect houses a gorgeous dining room, a gym, a French pool, a games room and a library for an wholesome experience.

Coming to the stay, we recommend you book their king’s cottage that has a cosy suite, two large bathrooms and a lovely patio with a private garden. The space has a pleasant erstwhile touch to it – antique furniture, wooden poster beds, the lace curtains, plush diwans and sophisticated pieces of wall hangings. The staff, too, is courteous and will cook you some lip-smacking Parsi treats for breakfast. Per night stay here for two people ranges between INR 2,000 and INR 5,000, depending upon the season and the day of the week {weekends are expensive}.

So, We're Saying...

The cottages at Hotel Prospect are high on demand, throughout the year. We recommend you book your stay well in advance. For more details, click here.
