Indian Handicrafts & Handloom Expo 2018, near Police Workshop in Aundh has been attracting quite a bit of crowd since last week. So, when we finally decided to pay a visit, we landed up buying 8 amazing things from the exhibition. Read to find out more.

Curved Vases

Indian Handicrafts & Handloom Expo has a vast collection of ceramic handicrafts; from cutlery to vases and table-top decor, they’ve stocked it all. What caught our eyes immediately were the quirky, curved flower vases in bright, shiny colours. Priced at INR 120 a piece, these vases make for great dinner table centre-pieces.

Mini Tables

The expo has tons of options in wooden furniture. While they are slightly expensive, we decided to look for something practical, cute and affordable. We picked this pink-and-blue mini table for INR 350 that can very well be used to keep smaller but important things in life such as our makeup, phones, toiletries, etc.

Animal-Shaped Flower Pots

Mundane mud pots are so passe. It’s time to amp up your terrace garden with something fun and eccentric. Enter animal-shaped flower pots for INR 250 a piece. These come in shapes of a fish, elephant, duck, frog and rooster. So adorable!

Miniature Table Fan

This is made for people who travel continuously under the sun. Priced at INR 400, the miniature table fan is light, easy to carry and works perfectly fine on battery.

Garden Furniture

We found this cute garden furniture set made of iron and wood. Priced at INR 6,000, the set comprises of four boat-shaped chairs and a round table. If you have a patio or a cute front yard, we think this set is quite affordable (compared to market prices) and will look absolutely splendid.

Kolhapuri Chappals

Kolhapuri chappals are a must for every woman’s wardrobe. We picked these two pairs of Kolhapuris for INR 250 each from the handicrafts expo. While one of the pairs has an elegant floral print on the base and the strap, the other pair looks stunning in vibrant purple and colorful tassles.

Textured Bangles

If you’re bored of glass bangles, check out these textured dual-tone bangle sets to amp up your Indo-Western game. Priced at INR 100, we loved the set of vermilion and aqua bangles.

Metallic Purse

At the end, we bought this super chic brass purse with red floral motifs and blue stonework. Priced at INR 800, we think this purse is quite contemporary and will blend in well with any outfit.
