Ishanya Mall in Yerwada has undergone quite the make-over recently. It has turned into a new hub for drinks, food, and entertainment. To make your post-work plans a little more fun, we’ve rounded up a handful of bars you can hit up for the perfect pub-crawl at Ishanya.

Baraza

Beachy-themed Baraza is a great place to hit up when you want a change of scene. Their head mixologist, Pranav Mody {also of The Sassy Spoon} is a magician when it comes to potent potions. We love his version of the classic Lond Island Ice tea – the ‘Big Daddy LIIT’ with a citrus twist, and the flavoured beers – particularly the coffee beer, infused with espresso and hints of vanilla. Craft beer from Effingut and Independence Brewing Co. is available here as well. Order off their appetizers menu, and try their ladi pav sliders – they’re delish.

Publiq

Newly opened Publiq at Ishanya is a sprawling lounge; just one of their 3 outlets in the city. We hear the drinks are good, so go for their signature cocktails: ‘Old Fashioned V2’ made with smoked Bourbon and their in-house bitters, the ‘Fragrantini’ – a spiced vodka martini with a kaffir smoke, the Jameson ginger ale, or stick with a classic Negroni or a Manhattan. Publiq is usually full on weekends, so we suggest you make a table booking in advance.

Good News Dhaba

A Punjabi-style contemporary eatery, we’ve heard rave reviews about Good News Dhaba’s food, and their pocket-friendly priced drinks. Try their – beer cocktails, ‘twisted thandai’, ‘panch goli’, and ‘Sweety Singh’s special’.

11 East Street Bar

Sister-bar to the eponymous outlet on East Street in Camp, 11 East Street Bar was opened recently in the al-fresco area of Zora. Their menu is an eclectic mix of cuisines, and even the cocktails are no exception. Not for the faint-hearted, try ‘The Lady Terminator’ – a tower of shots, set on fire; flavoured sangrias (which can be ordered bottomless for 2hrs), the watermelon and paan margarita, aam panna mojito {both available as community-bowl style London specials}, or their fiery Bhut Jolokia martini.
