We visited the place this neat and humble place on empty stomachs and guess what, it didn't take us time to finish our platters. Authentic and yummy, the place serves Maharashtrian food with lots of love. We started with kokam sarbat, which was our welcome drink followed by khaman dhokla and matar kachori for starters.
We absolutely loved the main course which consisted of spicy usal, aaloo sabji. leavy curry, and paneer kadai, dal, kadhi, koshimbir and two selections of Indian breads. There was delicious dal khichadi with loads of ghee along with papad included in the platter. For desserts, we were served ukadiche modak (a speciality during Ganesh Chaturthi) along with mango rabdi.
The menu keeps changing every day while few items like kadhi, dal and rice are constant. We recommend this place if you are looking to try out homely meal served with unlimited love. While the taste was delicious, it did not weigh heavy on our pockets.
