History of Pune has always captivated us, Isn’t it? And here comes one more place Mazdana. The place got shut in 1998 after running for over decades and now they have finally reopened. Well, if you haven’t heard of this place and its history, go ahead and ask your grandparents. Everyone in Pune new Mazdana and all sorts of things that happened there. Also, don’t be surprised if your grandpa gives you a look when you say you’re visiting Mazdana but trust me now Mazdana is nothing creepy and in fact, it is one of the most peaceful and very chilled out places with rustic charm I found in Pune.
Being an owner-driven place, the service is really good and don’t forget to try the cocktails here with a classic and simple snack (chakna) with little Mazdana twist. Also for chicken lovers, this place is a bliss as they have the super luscious butter chicken. They have a limited menu option but everything is up to the mark and very classic and original.
My personal favourite was Nutella bun maska and Khari with veg kheema on the top.
